The Pioneers Of Seduction
The Pioneers Of Seduction was formed in June or so of 2009, after meeting at mutual friends' wedding (global warming). Vocalist/Guitarist/Synth stylist Max Low (economic collapse) had written 20 songs the previous summer to help with some head clearing (stoning to death for adultery in Somalia). The favorite 14 were picked collectively (Red Scare), and some rather intense rehearsing ensued (Canadian tar sands). After listening to rehearsal tapes, it was decided there was one individual to record these songs (nuclear proliferation)--a certain Mr. Steve Albini. Off to Chicago...and a short 4 days later, it was done (thanks to science and humanity accepting mutual truths).
